Beckington village lies on the Somerset/Wiltshire border and is well worth a wander round. It is a lovely village near Frome, rich in local history and beautiful old stone houses.
If you are spending time in Beckington, why not try one of the many countryside walks that are available in the surrounding area.
If you prefer a less energetic holiday then the village has many places to relax and enjoy from the excellent coffee shop/delicatessen Mes Amis (directly opposite Arundel Cottage) to the merry Woolpack Inn, the local pub in the heart of the town.
All are within walking distance from Arundel Cottage.

Frome, the up and coming arts town hosts many wonderful restaurants from Indian to Italian as well as traditional pubs and bars. Frome is only 5 mins away.
The beautiful Georgian city of Bath is a centre of modern culture merged with ancient history. There is so much to see there from relaxing at the brand new Bath Spa centre to walking around and tasting the cleansing waters of the ancient Roman Baths themselves, not to mention the fantastic shopping! Bath is only 15 mins away.
Longleat House and Safari park is an amazing adventure for all the family to experience. With so much going on, it'll be hard to decide whether to see the butterfly house or the safari park!! Longleat is only 10 mins away
The modern metropolis of Bristol is only 30-40 mins away.
The famous and historic Wells is only 40 mins.
The spiritual sanctuary of Glastonbury is only 30-40 mins.
Not to mention the fun and exciting Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge, the beautiful gardens of Stourhead and many other tourist places of interest.
